Every now and then we have a #FollowRicans day on Twitter. What we do is that we tweet something like: “Weeepa! Donde estan los Boricuas? Digan Weeepa!” and everyone that responds with a ‘Wepa’ gets on our #FollowRicans list!

It’s usually a lot of fun and it works to connect people with other Puerto Ricans that they can follow.

What is ‘Wepa’? It’s a term to be used as a salutation, like saying “Hey!” or as a way of celebrating.

Stay tuned for more FollowRicans coming soon!
